[English version below] Le 20 décembre dernier, avec mes musiciens, nous avons enregistré 27 minutes de chants karnatiques dans la magnifique salle de répétition du Théâtre du Soleil, à la Cartoucherie du Château de Vincennes à Paris. Un grand merci à Ariane Mnouchkine!
Ce « mini concert » où j'ai le bonheur d'être accompagnée par Charles Parameswaralingam au violon, Venkat Krishnan au mridangam et Virginie Le Côent à la tampura, consiste en une série de quelques chants. Il a été conçu spécialement pour CFAA /RMTU dans le cadre de leur ROCKY MOUNTAIN INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC FESTIVAL (Colorado, Etats-Unis).

On December 20th, with my musiciens, we recorded 27 minutes of karnatik songs in the magnificent rehearsal room of the Théâtre du Soleil at the Cartoucherie of the Château de Vincennes, in Paris. A big thank you to Ariane Mnouchkine! This “mini concert” for which I am glad to be accompanied by Charles Parameswaralingam on the violin, Venkat Krishnan on the mridangam and Virginie Le Côent on the tampura, is a series of a few songs, and was specially designed for CFAA / RMTU for their ROCKY MOUNTAIN INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC FESTIVAL (Colorado, United States).
